Instructor: Sadie Gilker has been embroidering for over 10 years and teaching since 2020. They are a member of the Embroidery Association of Canada.
Step into the world of medieval needlework with a class inspired by one of history's most iconic embroidered works: the Bayeux Tapestry. Over two hours, you'll learn the stitches that brought these centuries-old scenes to life, and choose your own motif — sourced from the Tapestry and other medieval texts — to bring into your own piece.
This workshop welcomes all skill levels, with both basic and intermediate stitches on offer, giving you a solid foundation to build on.

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the workshop start time will receive full store credit. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Porchlight Press reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason. You will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a choice of a full refund or store credit.
Credits:
Credits are issued in the form of a gift certificate, it can go towards a future workshop, stationaries from our in house line or a custom print job with us. Credits must be used within one year from the date of the cancelled class.
