Join us for a hands-on leather bookbinding workshop led by Suzan Lee, a bookbinder with over 10 years of teaching experience trained at the Center for Book Arts in New York City. Suzan co-founded the BC Lower Mainland chapter of CBBAG (Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild) and is an active member of the local book arts community.
Craft two notebooks you'll actually carry, a trifold and a bifold leather notebook, one to keep and one to gift.Β In this workshop, you'll build your own leather notebooks (roughly 3.75" x 5.75" x 1") designed as an everyday carry companion β equally at home for planning, journaling, or sketching. You'll learn two different insert-making techniques so your notebooks can hold multiple swappable sections plus select functional and decorative details to make the final piece truly your own.
No prior bookbinding experience necessary β just an interest in working with your hands and leaving with something built to last.

Cancel at least 7 business days before your workshop to receive a full store credit. For cancellations made fewer than 7 business days in advance, a $50 fee applies, and the remaining balance will be issued as store credit.

Credits:
Credits are issued in the form of a gift certificate, it can go towards a future workshop, stationaries from our in house line or a custom print job with us. Credits must be used within one year from the date of the cancelled class.
