Are you interested in something crafty? Something inky? Have you ever been curious about how things were printed before the digital world, when every letter was set by hand and every impression was a small act of care?
In our 4.5hr beginner-friendly class, our team of patient, knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of letterpress. Spend an afternoon at the Back Porch printing your own cards, whether it’s a love note, a thank-you, or a card for someone who deserves a little extra. You’ll set your message in type, choose your paper and ink, and pull a small set of cards on our presses, with an instructor beside you at each step.
This is a special edition workshop: we’re bringing out a selection of pink and red coloured stock and fluorescent pink ink, so your cards can lean as romantic (or as loud) as you like.
No experience needed. Just two hands and a little curiosity.
Workshop Size: 6-12 people
