OrderFulfillment & Inventory Coordinator
Porchlight Press | East Vancouver | Contract or Full-Time
About Us
Porchlight Press is a letterpress and print studio in East Vancouver, creating greeting cards, paper goods, and custom print work, alongside a growing workshop program and community event space. We're a small, hands-on team that cares about craft, and we're looking for someone equally hands-on to help keep our orders and inventory running smoothly.
About the Role
We're looking for an Order Fulfillment & Inventory Coordinator to manage the day-to-day flow of product out the door, from wholesale accounts to direct retail orders, and to keep our inventory accurate and organized behind the scenes. This role also includes some hands-on finishing work in the studio, so you'll get to be close to the product, not just the paperwork.
What You'll Do
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and prepare wholesale and retail orders for shipment
- Process incoming orders and ensure accuracy against packing slips/invoices
- Coordinate shipping logistics and carrier drop-offs
- Maintain packaging standards and presentation for outgoing orders
- Respond to customer messages and order inquiries across our wholesale and retail accounts
Inventory Management
- Track and update inventory levels across our system (computer-based administration)
- Reconcile stock counts and flag discrepancies
- Support reordering and restocking workflows
- Keep product records organized and current
Production Support
- Assist with finishing work on printed products (folding, assembling, trimming, etc., depending on the run)
- Support the wider studio team during busy production periods
What You Bring
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Accuracy matters when you're the last check before something ships
- Comfort with computer-based inventory or order systems (spreadsheets, e-commerce platforms, or similar; training provided on our specific tools)
- Ability to manage a physical workload: standing, lifting, repetitive tasks
- Reliability and follow-through. You can be trusted to keep things moving without close oversight
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever the studio needs a hand
- Some retail or customer service experience is helpful. You'll be corresponding with customers across our wholesale and retail accounts
- Prior experience in fulfillment, inventory, warehouse, or production environments is an asset but not required

Location: In-person, East Vancouver (585 McLean Dr)
Type: Contract or Full-Time
